Anneli Fleming-Brown

I have been an Illustrator and textile designer for over 20 years. I studied BA Hons in Textile Design and Post Graduate Illustration at Central St Martins.

I was working in illustration until I had my children, when a career in printed textiles suited me better. My youngest is now at secondary school, giving me the freedom to get back to what I know and love: vibrant, colourful food & plant illustration.

My Finnish/Scottish roots are pivotal to my creativity, whether it is through illustration, in the kitchen or simply how I design my home.

Seven years ago, I finally managed to secure an allotment near my home in Brighton. I now share it with three lovely friends and we've recently graduated to a double plot! Our produce inspires my everyday cooking.

After having my first Artists Open House at Xmas last year, I’ve been inspired to do it again in May. I’ll be hosting this event at my home in Brighton ( every weekend in May 2019 ) and showing my work - Textiles, Prints along with a selection of exciting guest artists and some Scandinavian baking too
